How It Works
1. Select your packaging.
The top row packages come with the label format shown, and the bottom row totes come with a single sided, 1-color screenprint.
Browse our design templates in Step 3 or send us your own design after checkout. Regardless, we always label with love.
2. Fill your gifts.
We have an array of items proven to be crowd pleasers — from local treats made in New York to the big box veterans sure to bring on the nostalgia.
Following a strict color scheme? Want a healthy focus? On a tight budget? Want to go all out? The Giftwell has plenty of options for everyone.
If you’re looking for something specific and can’t find it on our site, get in touch and consider it handled!
3. Customize your label to fit your vibe.
Select from our complementary templates or email your custom design after checkout. If you’re using our templates, it will go like this:
For those using your own design, an email will be sent after checkout with easy uploading instructions. In the meantime, make sure to review our design guidelines!
4. Choose your note format and personalize it.
Select a note format from the three options shown above. Each format is specifically designed to include a brief welcome note, itinerary details, and transportation notes.
Letter (8.5 x 11")
Complimentary with all orders (limited time only)
Single sided
Tri-folded in each gift with your monogram face up.
Card (5 x 7”)
Text on one side and a pattern on the other is highly recommended - especially if you’re using our templates.
3-Part Fan (6.5 x 4.25" all together)
This option has a dedicated page for a note, itinerary, and your favorite local hot spots (or a custom map!) All orders come with white ribbon.
Once you select your note format, you have three options:

If your copy is ready to go, simply paste it into the text box in Step 4

If you need more time for your copy, you can email it to us after checkout.

If you have your own design, you can send the file after checkout too! Be sure to visit our design guidelines first.
Checkout
While we like to think we’re superhumans, we can’t change EVERYTHING, and this includes the checkout process on our site (for now, at least). So, here’s what you can expect, and what you should do:
You will be asked for a Primary Delivery Address, which may be confusing because...aren't all delivery locations created equal?
Yes! This is for tax calculation purposes only. Simply input any address that you know you'll want at least one gift delivered.
But how will we know where to deliver your gifts?
We’ll send you our Delivery Location Form after checkout where you’ll input all the details, including quantity of gifts you’d like delivered to each location. We will only reference this completed form for delivery instructions.

Post-Checkout
We’ll send you an overview and timeline so you know when we’ll need finalized items like design files, note copy, and the completed Delivery Location Form. And yes, we will most definitely send all customized files for approval before printing.
The Fine Print
Delivery
We currently provide hand-delivery to specific counties in the New York Metropolitan Area, Boston, Chicago, Southern Florida, and California. Check out our FAQ page for specific areas and rates.
If you're getting married somewhere outside of our delivery area but want to use The Giftwell, email us and we'll send you custom delivery pricing!
Lead Time
All orders must be placed 6-8 weeks before the wedding date (6 weeks for paper packaging, 8 weeks for totes). If you’re running behind, email us and we’ll see what we can do! Rush fees may apply. Keep in mind, for paper packaging, you can add as many as 15 gifts to your order up until the 20 day countdown.
